For those of you at a distance, you might alert your Washington area friends, especially those interested in reviving cities, saving the environment, affordable housing, fair taxation, and how to generate prosperity for all (not just the 1 percent or even the 50 percent).

Walt advises: The food is great if you want to eat first. There is street and metered parking; a public underground garage just below Busboys; and a Marc Parc lot directly across the street ($5 after 5 pm). The Mt. Vernon Square-7th St-Convention Center METRO stop is just 3 and 1/2 blocks away.

I commend the book to your attention; send copies to your favorite legislators, at all levels of government. It is very readable and will provide them perspective they likely don’t already have on how to go about solving problems many people seem to think can’t be solved.
