Blogger: Telling Secrets From time to time, I check in on the blog of the Rev. Elizabeth Kaeton, of NJ & DE, and today got to read a post I want to share. It is her response to re-reading as an adult the book “To Kill a Mockingbird,” which was published just over 50 years ago. She writes,

I thought this would be just a pleasant little stroll down Memory Lane. A little measure of how far we’ve come, baby. Perhaps, even a measure of how far I’ve come.

I’m discovering that Memory Lane is not always an enjoyable place.

I commend this piece to your attention. Extracting sentences or paragraphs would not do it, or you, justice. It is very relevant in March 2010 America, and I thank Elizabeth for sharing it today.
